Rick Van AndelAACI, P.App

Owner & Lead Appraiser

The founder of Liverpool Appraisal, Mr. Van Andel has over 15 years of experience in the appraisal industry. His experience includes both private sector fee appraisal work, and public sector service (MPAC) experience. Mr. Van Andel is the past Chapter Chair for the Durham Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, has served as the Regional Director (Durham-Peterborough-Kawartha) for the Ontario - Appraisal Institute of Canada, and currently sits as Member on the City of Pickering's Committee of Adjustments. Mr. Van Andel’s valuation experience covers a broad range of commercial and residential property types, and Mr. Van Andel has Expert Witness experience in mediation and tribunal hearings.

Mr. Brabender has over 8 years experience in the appraisal industry, completing both residential and commercial appraisals. Mr. Brabender volunteers on the Durham Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, currently serving as Vice-Chair and secretary.

Neil Ryan

Senior Consultant

Mr. Ryan has over 40 years experience in the appraisal industry. Mr. Ryan holds his Realtor licence with Re/Max Jazz, with over 40 years experience in real estate sales. He has served as a member of the Board of Examiners for the Appraisal Institute of Canada, and is appointed as a Real Estate Services provider to the Municipality of Clarington. This broad depth of experience provides Liverpool Appraisal with valuable guidance and insight.
